Multivitamins for Heart Health

A new health study indicates that taking a daily multivitamin supplement is linked to a 25% lower risk of heart disease in women.  The study shows that, among women who used multivitamins for at least five years, the protective effect is even stronger.  

A heart-healthy diet is also a skin-healthy diet.  For more information, see our article on supplements for skin.  Be sure to include whole grains, legumes and nuts, and fatty fish.   If you are not a seafood lover, try a fish oil supplement: look for one which provides 600mg DHA and EPA combined.

    I think I’m going to agree with this. Heart attacks usually occurs for people with poor blood flow and hypertension. I always stock on multivitamins in my household for everyday consumption and for emergency situations – we need to be healthy the most during a disaster. I have it in my emergency bag.
