In Love With: Anthelios Tinted Sunscreens

One of my favorite new products? I love the Anthelios Tinted Sunscreens. I’m a big fan of Anthelios sunscreens in general, and although my darker skin tends to tolerate them all relatively well, I find that the tinted versions work really well with my skin tone.

Anthelios Tinted Creme SPF 50+ comes in a luxurious, moisturizing base, while the Anthelios Tinted Fluide Extreme 50+ is a lighter formulation. My normal to dry skin can get quite dry during the winter. For this reason, I’m loving Anthelios Tinted Creme SPF 50+ now. As the days get warmer (yes, there are signs spring is on its way), I may switch over to the Anthelios Tinted Fluide Extreme 50+, but I don’t think that the Creme will be too rich even during warmer, more humid weather.

The tint in Anthelios sunscreens is a good shade for most skin types. Unlike many tinted facial products it isn’t too pink, peach or yellow and for this reason is ideal for a range of skin colorings. Both the Creme and the Fluide Extreme deliver great protection with a matte finish. The light tint delivers a faint glow, which is ideal for those days when you don’t feel like wearing foundation, but it works well under it too.

I used the SPF 60 sunscreen at the advice of the dermatologist. I like the way the product feels but unfortunately it my face turned neon yellow. It washed off easily but was still embarrasing. I noticed it only does that if I sweat. Kinda of weird!

Dianne, Sorry to hear that the sunscreen didn’t work for you. This is the first time we’ve heard of such a result from using this product. Best wishes, Sharmani
