It’s always interesting to read about the latest gimmicks available to improve the condition of skin; that’s why the article about a cup of coffee that might just help you to reduce wrinkles caught my eye.
According to a recent article, Swiss based food manufacturer Nestle, has launched a range of coffee sachets containing collagen – the protein naturally found in body tissue that helps give skin its shape. Aimed at women, each sachet contains skimmed milk, coffee and 200 g of collagen. Only available to buy in Singapore, there are two other varieties including 3 in 1 coffee with soy, vitamins A, C and E and 3 in 1 coffee with high calcium.
Why would anyone want to drink the coffee? It’s thought that the collagen may help to eliminate wrinkles. And while Japanese women have been drinking collagen as a diet supplement for years, there isn’t any evidence that consuming collagen can improve the condition of your skin.
However, if it tastes great and will make waking up easier, I’m in!
