My absolute favorite product right now(I have lots of faves, but if I had to pick one now, this is it) is Apothekari Vitamin C and E with Ferulic Acid. This new serum combines three effective antioxidants – Vitamin C, Vitamin E and ferulic acid to boost UV protection, fight free radical damage and reduce the risk for developing skin cancer.
Apothekari Vitamin C/E and ferulic acid works differently to sunscreens. When used in a combination, ferulic acid improves the chemical stability of Vitamins C and E and doubles their photoprotective ability (from 4 fold to 8 fold). What’s unique about this combination is that Vitamins C and E together protect against both UVA and UVB rays. Studies have shown that when their use is combined with sunscreens that they maximize the phototprotection afforded by sunscreens.
As we head into summer, this easily absorbed, light and non-greasy serum goes on my face daily, directly after cleansing. A must have for anyone serious about skin care.
