Our Apothekari Lemongrass Essential Oil Soy Candle is

scented with pure lemongrass essential oil. It has a strong,
earthy, citrus aroma with green, lush notes. Lemongrass is refreshing,
uplifting, calming and restorative.

Our
all natural Apothekari Soy Candle is hand poured in a wind
powered facility in the Pacific North West and hand wrapped and packaged
in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.

Apothekari Soy Candles are made from soybean wax, a non-toxic,
naturally-occurring, biodegradable and renewable sustainable resource. A
100% soy candle burns cleaner, cooler, slower, and more evenly than
traditional petroleum-based wax candles. Free from potentially harmful
dyes, our luxurious candles are scented with pure essential oils
or non-toxic fragrances (DPG (dipropylene glycol) free and phthalate
free) and contain a 100% cotton wick.

Caring for Your Apothekari Soy Candle
The natural nature of our soy wax (free from additives and preservatives) may result in candles which appear frosted, mottled or ‘wet’ looking, much like chocolate when it is warmed and cooled. This is a normal characteristic of soy wax and should not be considered a flaw. It will not affect the quality, consistency or performance of your Apothekari candle when burned properly. You will notice that the candle changes as the soy is burned and even when your room conditions change.

The First Burn: When burning your Apothekari Soy Candle for the first time, it is important that you burn the candle for at least 1 hour for each inch of its diameter. This gives the candle a “memory burn” and will help to increase its scent throw. If your candle isn’t burned for a sufficient amount of time, it will burn down the center and not be able to disperse its scent appropriately. For example: a candle 3″ in diameter should be burned for three hours to establish its “memory”. An optimal burn time is between 2 and 4 hours.

Wick Trim: Wicks should always be kept trimmed to 1/8″, to help prevent smoking. There is no risk of harmful substances being released, but a wick that is too long (or if the candle is burned more than 3 hours) may cause soot to accumulate on the jars. This is NOT the same as the toxic soot left from paraffin candles.

Burn your soy candle on a stable, protected, hard surface away from drafts and material that could catch fire. Our 7 oz candle should fill an average sized room (about 15’ x 15’) with fragrance.

Please read the caution label at the bottom of your candle before burning.

Storing Your Candle: Soy candles are sensitive to temperature and light. Store your candle away from sunlight, fluorescent lighting and sources of heat in a cool, dry place, and away from direct and indirect sunlight.
