How is M2 Different?
Unlike most other AHA formulations that contain glycolic acid, the M2 system incorporates two AHAs, mandelic acid and malic acid, which are known for their gentle, non-irritating nature and anti-inflammatory properties. This combination delivers maximum results with minimal irritation.
The slightly larger molecular structure of mandelic and malic acids results in slower, more even penetration and less irritation. This allows people who are normally unable to tolerate high concentrations of AHAs, such as those with sensitive skin, to enjoy the collagen-promoting benefits of M2.
Mandelic acid is naturally antibacterial. This feature can help to combat the bacteria associated with acne, fighting away old blemishes and helping to prevent new ones from forming. As well, mandelic acid also absorbs and controls oil further helping to control acne.
