Formulated with 3 exfoliating alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) PLUS sugar cane extract, AHA-Mazing Clean is an elegant pearly cleanser intended for all skin types, including aging skin. Ideal for everyday use, it has been designed to improve the skin’s overall appearance. All four major ingredients work together to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, gently exfoliate clogged pores and promote cellular renewal.
AHA-Mazing Clean contains 4 superstar chirally correct exfoliants. Why is chirally correct important? Chirally correct forms of the three AHAs means that only the side of the molecule with the ability to give the desired results is used in the formulation. All molecules contain a left (L) and right (D) side. However, both sides are not always active. Chirally correct treatments incorporate the ‘effective’ side of an ingredient, ensuring that you get the best results possible.
Key ingredients of this unique cleanser include:
- Actilac M-60 (Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract): Exfoliating and conditioning agent, active ingredient is naturally derived lactic acid for refining wrinkles and other signs of aging skin, moisturizing and lubricating
- Lactic Acid. This AHA simultaneously hydrates and exfoliates, while also reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Lactic Acid also works wonders at evening out pigmentation discolorations.
- Malic Acid. Derived from apples, Malic Acid provides gentle exfoliation, smoothes the skin, and promotes cellular renewal by sloughing off dead skin and revealing the new radiant skin that was hiding underneath. Combined with lactic acid, skin will look and feel younger!
- Tartaric Acid. The anti-aging process continues with a focus on proper hydration, delivered by tartaric acid, which helps to retain hydration through efficient penetration of the skin layers. Tartaric acid also exfoliates, rounding out the actions of lactic and malic acids.
