NEW at PhaMix, Provacare Probiotic Vaginal Ovules are the only non-prescription treatment that contains patented LCR Regenerans, a unique formulation of the probiotic Lactobacillus casei rhamnosus that has been clinically proven to:
- Help treat recurring yeast infections
- Naturally help treat the symptoms of vaginal burning, vaginal dryness and excessive discharge
Your vaginal ecosystem normally includes both healthy bacteria and some natural unhealthy bacteria (both known as flora). Vaginal infections happen when there is an overgrowth of the unhealthy bacteria. This imbalance can lead to vaginal infections and repeat vaginal infections like yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis.
Some common causes of yeast overgrowth may include:
- Taking oral antibiotics to treat an unrelated condition
- Using anti-fungals – found in traditional yeast infection medication
- Hormonal changes
- Stress or fatigue
- Birth control pills
- Wearing wet or moist clothing, such as bathing suits, for long periods of time
Provacare is a natural way to restore the healthy bacteria and normal pH level required for a balanced vaginal ecosystem. Since certain activities increase the risk of disrupting your natural balance, Provacare can be especially useful at these times in order to:
- Strengthen your immune system
- Cope with hormone changes
- Relieve side effects
Provacare has been trusted by healthcare practitioners in Europe for over 30 years. Plus Provacare Probiotic Vaginal Care Ovules can be used with antibiotics to help treat B.V. Bacterial Vaginosis. Clinical studies prove it stops the growth of Candida Albicans, the bacteria that causes yeast infections, and patheogenic agents, such as Gardnerella, that cause bacterial vaginosis (B.V.)
I was diagnosed with BV a month ago and prescribed a one time dose of antibiotics. A month later I’ve still tested positive for BV. Now I’ve been prescribed a week long dosage of the same antibiotics. My question is should I use Provacare alongside the prescription or wait until I’m done the prescription and then use the Provacare. THANKS!!
For Kari,
After contacting the manufacturers of Provacare, they have advised us that the ovules should be used 2-3 HOURS before or after antibiotics.
Best, Sharmani
